Maple Blanket Chest

Traditional solid wood blanket chests with inbuilt tray shelves made of Cedar of Lebanon, American Ash or English Cherry are enjoying a revival of late. The one featured is made from Maple and American Cherry and has two removable trays also made from Maple. The beauty of these pieces are that they can be made from many complementary woods, or alternatively all in one type such as English Walnut. They can also be upholstered to serve a dual purpose, seating and storage.
